  National Healthcare for the USA

  just an fyi for anyone interested - there is a major drive on to push the bill forward for national healthcare in the usa.

  you can sign the petition by going to http://www.onecarenow.org/.. it has gone through one part of the process last year and now the push is on to get it moved to the next level - it is backed by over 400 groups including the uaw i believe.

  it is no longer if it happens, it is only a matter of time as to when it happens.

  i believe i have come to realize that i am no better than the jdubs myself.

  for about six weeks now i have been going to a book study with a friend of my girlfriend.

  i act very interested, i give him the answers he wants to hear, i am the perfect and progressing study.

  i talked to my dad yesterday , i had some thing to tell him about my sister's death, things i found out at the police station.

  well, anyway......he told me that what keeps him going is knowing that he will see ginger really soon.

  he told me he didnt mean to preach to me but he loves me and wants us all to make it thru the big a, so we can all be together as a family once again, including my mom and my sister who have passed away.. he told me we have to live for our kids,,,,,and help them thru this old system.

  i often wonder if my old witness friends from my past are still in the 'truth' (god i hope not)?

  i know this site is pretty popular amongst ex-witnesses.

  and since most of us have 'fake names'...we could be talking to someone that we already know.

  I finally found my best friend from childhood via an Internet search. I called him up, and one of the first things out of his mouth was "man, wasn't that a GREAT convention! You know the end must be really close now!" I just wanted to be sick.

  Some people just never grow up I guess.

  the thread about got me thinking about my very early childhood, back when witnesses were allowed to be social and have get togethers.

  they also had a piano in every congregation i ever attended, and an older sister would always play the kingdom melody.

  there was actual singing - not mindless droning and humming.

  Oh I will be careful all right. And of course I know better than to actually speak these questions. Right now I'm in the process of making up my first flyer based on this quote.......

The best way to 'win' is to make the opponent contradict themselves in some way that proves the inquirer's own point.” – Wikipedia The “brothers” do not believe in the Socratic methed. They do not want you to think for yourself. Asking “hard” questions will quickly expose the contradictions in their teachings, and they know it. Thinking for yourself, or even reading the Bible without the use of the Societies study aids is considered wrong. Why is this? Why does even asking certain questions get you labled an “Apostate." Since I'm still on the "inside" to a certain extent, it is my mission to get as many to ask questions as possible. I have seen one person here use "Flyers" and that seems like a good place to start.
